RAJFED (Rajasthan State Cooperative Marketing Federation Ltd.) is the apex cooperative marketing federation of the State of Rajasthan. Established on 26 November 1957 under Section 13 of the Rajasthan Cooperative Societies Act, 1953, RAJFED has been serving the farming community and strengthening the cooperative movement for more than 50 years.
The cooperative structure in Rajasthan follows a three-tier system, consisting of:
Village Service Cooperative Societies at the village level.
Cooperative Purchase and Sales Societies at the block level.
RAJFED as the apex cooperative marketing federation at the state level.
Today, RAJFED is associated with over 261 block-level cooperative societies and more than 5,000 village-level cooperative societies, creating one of the largest cooperative networks in Rajasthan.
As the apex marketing federation, RAJFED is engaged in the procurement, marketing, processing, and sale of agricultural commodities. Through its extensive and well-established cooperative network, RAJFED reaches farmers across the state, providing efficient services and ensuring transparency, fair pricing, and timely support.
With its deep-rooted presence in rural Rajasthan, RAJFED continues to play a pivotal role in empowering farmers, promoting cooperative development, and contributing to the state's agricultural economy.
